Their Story

September the 9th, a wedding day I’ll never forget.

I knew this one would be an amazing wedding as Sam and Danielle had four incredible children between them and love in abundance for one another. Meeting this wonderful family of six for their pre-wedding shoot in the woodland we instantly connected and the children and I had so much fun playing games and having fun, oh and with Danielle and Sam too of course! A pre-wedding gallery full to the brim of smiles. Laughter and love ensured the soon-to-be-wed couple knew they had chosen the right photographer for their wedding day.

So, here we are the morning of the wedding. The skies of Holmewood Hall absolutely flooded with the most gorgeous sunshine and the richest colour of blue. Days beforehand we had been told another heatwave was on the way, and wow was it. Immediately we needed fans in the bridal prep room which of course Holmewood Hall was on it and they were already in there.

A nice calm morning getting ready in the Bridal Suite for our Bride Danielle. The Library at Holmewood Hall is incredible so we took the Groom Sam down there to add his buttonholes to his suit and read his heartfelt letter from Danielle.

The ceremony room was incredibly warm by this point but the entire room was full to the brim of family and friends awaiting the brides entrance and to witness the vows of Sam and Danielle.

Couples portraits would always be a little tricky in the baking 39-degree heat, but our newlywed couple were more than happy to go out for a wander around the stunning grounds. The thick green grass and flowers are all in bloom, very late for this time of the year. We had so much fun shooting this part too, Danielle and Sam threw themselves into their photos and really enjoyed being together in this part. I think it really shows in their shots.

Shooting at Holmewood Hall with an amazing couple is always going to be a winner for me.
