James & Louise

Their Story

This wedding takes us to the incredible venue that is Reymerston Hall over in Norwich for the wedding of the darlings, James and Louise. Having been here before in much colder months, I was absolutely buzzing to be back, and especially with these two! Louise and I have absolutely vibed from the moment we spoke, all the way through this process.

My head full of ideas and with one shot in mind I was so desperately wanting to shoot here, in the window light using the armchair… this has since gone on my Instagram as the most liked shot on there! The inside of the Georgian house is just so charming, the romantic feel here leaves everyone feeling the same way. The courtyard room for the ceremony was dressed beautifully with the most incredible flowers by Charlotte Staff Flowers. And the fresh smell of blooms filled the room.

We were blessed with the most wonderful Team for the day. Ria, the venue coordinator, knows her stuff and was so kind to come and say hi to Lauren and me as soon as we arrived. What an amazing woman! Thorough, kind, organized, and on it with all things wedding!

The vibe in the stable room for prep with the girls was everything. The feeling of being part of a friendship group on someone’s wedding day just never gets old. I am always made to feel welcome and its magical. Swooning over details, snapping away while hair and make-up was in full swing. Super chilled too!

The ceremony was short and sweet, and James the Groom wasn’t kept waiting too long. Much to his liking, I’m sure!

Rings exchanged, sealed with a kiss, we head out for confetti moments, followed by group pics before heading in to mingle. The dining room details and the neutral tones just melted into the aesthetics of the venue perfectly.  And the most fabulous cake!

The sunset chaser I am was keeping an eye on the sky, and we managed to sneak our newlyweds for some sunset smooches, this part is always one of my favourites! As cold as it was at this point James and Louise absolutely rocked it.

Heading into the evening … now, what can I say? I KNEW whole heartedly the evening would be a banger. They’d booked the best DJ’s in the business. Top Notch Entertainers. Ha ha, at this point I’d better mention he’s also my Husband. Something I never usually see is a full dancefloor before the first dance had taken place! That’s right, such awesome family and friends the party started with no need for an announcement!

After clearing the space to bring on the newlyweds, their first dance song, which was also James’s parents first dance song played out, much to her surprise which was a goosebump moment when she realised of course!

PARTY TIME! A full dancefloor is always a winner in my eyes! When it was time to leave, Lauren and I were pulled in by the Bride and her Girls and a few dances to end the night was just perfect!

James, Louise…Thank You. It’s been a pleasure!
