The Wedding Day
Weddings at the Rutland Water Golf Club are always such a pleasure to photograph. The staff here are incredibly friendly to work with, and everything always runs smoothly. Not to mention always on hand to lend us a nippy little golf buggy!
The bride Charlotte, sister Rachael (a future bride of ours) and her wonderful bridesmaids all had the lovely cottage on site to get ready in, with its rustic but homely feel it’s just perfect for bridal prep. Sally was on hand for this wedding snapping away at details upstairs I took the girls into the gardens for some shots in their gorgeous robes with some bubbles in hand.
The girls gave me nothing but smiles as we moved ahead to the ceremony in Tugby church, where our groom James and his groomsmen awaited.
A sweet ceremony took place where we battled with the most huge floral arrangments along with the lovely and super talented Ellen Jackson Weddings taking it in turns to grab the view between the pews!
As confetti shots go, this one was pretty epic, I am pretty sure James knew it was coming!
Wrapping up the group shots at the church we headed back to the golf course. The relaxed feel for the big day was lovely, guests all so welcoming and friendly.
Sally and I keeping an eye out for the sunset, and wow was it worth it. Razzing around in our very own gold buggy we headed out to the back where you were treated to the most incredible view of Rutland. Teaming that with the burnt orange of the most breath-taking sunsets we have ever seen, and we were all in love!
