Holdup Wedding

The Wedding Day

The second I met our bride Katy it was clear from the start she didn’t like the idea of a wedding posed and awkward. Katy and her fiancé Matt wanted the most ‘non-traditional wedding’ celebration possible. They wanted a day with no rules and set timeline, and I think it worked perfectly!

Sally and I tag teamed between guests and our couple to take many candid shots. The stunning venue of Irnham Hall for the whole day never failed to deliver on quality service and care. Jamie as always on hand to ensure the couple are looked after.

The theme and style, green and botanical. And I just couldn’t think of anywhere more perfect for them to wed.

The washed white walls and bright windows of the ceremony room makes for perfectly bright pictures. An intimate and fun ceremony finished off with a touching speech from their boy. Much to everyone’s delight and cheer, the Holdups made their exit, together, as Husband and Wife.

Ice creams, sweets and garden games were there for all to enjoy. Now have you ever seen 30 yellow ducks in the Irnham Hall famous fountain to catch with your fishing rods? I for one had a go, it isn’t that easy!

Just as the evening arrived the heavens opened, and the party started.

We most definitely kept the special day natural and although some direction was given, Katy and Matt agreed it was more than perfect!
